More in the New Year

In the NEW YEAR!!!

In the New Year I will be blogging like I've never blogged before....  I get asked all of the time " What is it that you do?" & "What do you make?", "What are you working on?" and the How's and Why's of it all....

So I'm gonna do it!!!  I'll post daily life posts, inside my studio posts, my sketch book posts and more....

& if you end up liking this blog...I'll link it in with my Reconstructionista blog, which is more of my DIY tutorials ( How I do the Magical things that I do) and there will be Beauty on a Budget for beauty addicts like me....Clothing Reconstruction....etc....

Let's Make A Bid!!!!

It's finally here!!!!  The Albany Museum of Art's Annual Let's Make a Bid Auction and I get to be featured in it.  Items are donated for the auction by local merchants, artists etc. and the money goes to the museum!!!!

It's taken a lot of prep to get the pieces ready for this.....

Hand printed all of this canvas fabric in 5 hours...

And hours of cutting out pattern pieces and sewing...

Exciting news in the world of Squirrely Doodle Ink!

One of my fave local consignment and vintage stores has picked me to be the 1st Local Artist to be showcased in their store for an entire MONTH!!!!! 

 My paintings, my woodblocks ( used for printing my fabrics), totes, clutches, scarves and messenger bags are all on display and for sale.
